  • Using the ESRI ModelBuilder tool, generated a new tool for creating floodplain analysis. 

  • The tool accepts inputs of floodplains and Tax Parcels and will output two new layers

    • Floodplain Projected

    • Parcels

  • The new parcels data is categorized as 1-in a flood zone, 2 - in a floodplain or not in a floodzone or flood plain. 

  • The tool also creates two new tables that identify land use of parcels that are in floodzones or floodplains. 

  • All the data is output to a newly generated Geodatabase and Feature Data Set.
