URISA Submission & GIS Capstone Project
The capstone project is a six month independant research project that all GIS Certification students must complete.
This analysis evaluates Western Washington State for potential wildfire risk. Using existing forestry risk templates, I generated a model for the region in an attempt to locate areas that are highly succeptible to wildfires.
I presented this research in Spokane as part of the National URISA/GIS-PRO conference in 2015 where it was awarded 1st place in the National Undergraduate GIS Skills Competition.

Please check out my Youtuve Submission video where I outline how I completed this research!
